With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Derek Hassenpflug, CFP®, ChFC®, is the Managing Director of Pendragon Wealth Management and a trusted advisor dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve clarity, confidence, and lasting financial security. Since 2000, Derek has held numerous financial services leadership roles, earning a reputation as a proven leader and thoughtful strategist committed to delivering personalized, client-centered planning.

Based in Cincinnati, Derek leads Pendragon Wealth Management with a vision to provide a more personal, relationship-driven advisory experience—one grounded in deep listening, disciplined planning, and long-term partnership. He believes that effective financial planning does more than organize wealth; it reduces stress and uncertainty, empowering people to live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Outside the office, Derek is a Certified Flight Instructor and active pilot who volunteers his time and aircraft to serve others. He flies humanitarian missions for Pilots N Paws and PALS SkyHope, transporting animals and patients in need. Whether in the air or alongside his clients, Derek is guided by a commitment to service, responsibility, and trust.
